Using the view tab on the teacher portal, student progress in each mission can be monitored in real time, or evaluated at the conclusion of the module. Each student input is shown with incorrect or inappropriate responses are shown with a red shape around the response. For the three data sets; medical records, genomic data and family history, the percentage correct for responses is shown in parentheses.

Student groups are assigned varying numbers of flags for each activity. This should be considered before using the percent correct as a final grade for the module. One group of students may score 60% with two incorrect responses, while another group scores 80% with two incorrect responses. Teachers are reminded that the purpose of the activity is to draw conclusions about the complex nature of the human diseases discussed, and that much of that is subjective.

Clicking the "Risk" tab, students overall assessment of crew member risk for each of the diseases, based on each activity, can be compared to the expert evaluations of risk. The color coded slider bars are arranged with lowest risk on the left and highest risk on the right. Experts were asked to evaluate each patient's increase in risk based on game data. Notice that for some of the diseases, there is wide variation on where experts place risk given the same data. Keep this in mind when assigning grades.
